Our pediatric optometrists at Woodburn Eye Center are dedicated to providing compassionate, child-focused eye care for children and families in the Woodburn community.
Dr. Emilee Nehring OD
Dr. Emilee Nehring earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University College of Optometry in 2017. She specializes in pediatric optometry and is passionate about helping children develop healthy vision through compassionate, personalized eye care. Her clinical training includes pediatric eye exams, contact lenses, ocular disease management, and pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery.
Born and raised in Woodburn, Dr. Nehring graduated from Canby High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med from Oregon Institute of Technology. She has participated in vision mission trips to Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Mexico, and enjoys serving the local community while continuing to improve her Spanish-speaking skills.
Dr. Daniella Minnis OD
Dr. Daniela Minnis was born and raised in Central Oregon and earned both her Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University. She is passionate about pediatric optometry and dedicated to helping children achieve healthy vision through personalized, compassionate eye care.
After graduation, Dr. Minnis practiced in a family-focused private optometry clinic in Bend before returning to the Portland area. Her experience includes working in clinics that provide vision therapy and specialized pediatric treatments for children throughout Oregon. Dr. Minnis is excited to bring her passion for pediatric eye care and family vision health to the Woodburn community.
Dr. Dustin King OD
Dr. King grew up in Wichita, where he developed a lifelong passion for sports while playing baseball and basketball. He later earned a baseball scholarship to Hesston College, now Hannibal-LaGrange University. Outside the clinic, Dr. King enjoys spending time with family and following a wide variety of sports.
Dr. King earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in 2020. At Woodburn Eye Center, he provides compassionate, patient-focused eye care for children and families, with clinical interests in pediatric eye exams, contact lenses, urgent eye care, and long-term vision health management. He is dedicated to helping young patients develop healthy vision in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Dr. Kelsey Evans OD
Dr. Kelsey Evans grew up in Eugene and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered pediatric eye care and building lasting relationships with families in the community.
After completing her training, Dr. Evans returned to Oregon to begin her optometric career, where she focuses on delivering high-quality vision care for children and families. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their corgi, Penny, and values being part of the local community she serves.
